Great speed, always connected.
Customer service is a joke, time waiting on hold could be best spent doing something else. They need to retrain their customer service people to listen to what their customer are saying, instead of ignoring them.
Told them i already have an ONT installed on my home, and router here. I just need to change the service in my name and upgrade the service from 5/2 to 20/5, the !!#@# customer service guy, doesn't take care of the old account here on my house by deleting, So now there were two orders on my house, messing everything up. And they sent a guy to install cable in the ground and put an ont on the house, which I already have the latest ont and fios installed 
Took two weeks to finally get everything straight.
UPDATE; After some work in the Verizon direct support forum, The service as reach a better bandwith reliability and lower pings.
Update as of 09/04/07 Everything great! I now pay $54.99, which includes the Verizon Internet Security Suite, even though I only use the Virus scanner, it works great, not bad
Update; Not good anymore Verizon started overcharging me at a rate pf $79.99 for the internet which is bs, and you can never get a hold of anyone there, the internet browsing became slow and not at all worth the price i was paying,
Had the service for about 3 years, once i killed the service i was now being charged for the $100 fee of cancelled while under contract, but as you can read i have had the service longer than any contract and shouldn't be charged for it and i also got a thing in the mail to send in the actiontec router wtf its mine after 1 year you moran, check your own fing policy.
Back to roadrunner, which is stable and at a great price, not one issue, its exactly what i need, no hassle , great internet browsing speed.
