    Package: 5 Mbps Down / 2 Mbps Up (AKA 5/2)

    Online order process was easy.
    Install was smooth as silk. 7 days from order date to active, 2 days from utilities identified to active.
    Installer was courteous and accommodating of reasonable special request such as provisioning via CAT5 rather than coax and providing a long enough cable to move the router to a different location later.

    Router: ActionTec MI424WR

    I commend Verizon for providing router with default configuration security settings acceptable for residential consumer class customers.

    Once able to get the Verizon Optimization to "take hold' the throughput (speed) is as it should be for the 5/2 package.

    Have not had FiOS service long enough yet to provide rating for connection reliability nor tech support. Though for 17 months of Verizon Online DSL service the connection was flawless and there was never any need to engage tech support. Expect this to continue with Verizon FiOS service.

    Have not seen a bill yet so do not yet know the price including all charges, but the advertised price is 39.cc after the free first month and months 2-7 intro price. So we shall see how that all turns out.
