I by chance found out FIOS was available the week it went live. I was the first install in my neighborhood. The installer was friendly, knew what he was doing, and only took 2 1/2 hours to do the job. He accidentally disconnected one of the extension lines, but that was a 2 minute fix, and I was surprised/glad he had me check that all phones were working before he left. Also, he was the first installer who actually USED a level when he installed the ONT box. The DSL and cable installers just eyeballed their boxes, and you could tell.
I got the 15/15 package, along with the Actiontech router. So far I have had no problems with the Actiontech, but I had the installer turn on the ethernet port just in case I do, and i can use my old router then.
