Comcast might as well give up as a provider. I less than 2 hours I downloaded 30 gigs worth of contents (won't say what kind, but if you're a red blooded American who has an appreciation for the ladies you know what kind of contents it is!). My Newsgroups provider blocked my account until next month because I've downloaded everything I could for the next month or so. I was never able to do that with comcrap.

    73.00 a month?

Thanks! But i'll keep my comcast connection that with PowerBoost..offers me TWICE the speeds you see with your 15Mb.

No..it wouldn't be for 30 gigs but I don't need 30 gigs of porn in one sitting..thank you!

What you do have with yours however is greater UL speeds.
But...you're paying for it. To the tune of 30.00 more per month.

That's great if it's REALLY something you need.

As for me and many folks..it would just sit there unused.

Anyways..good to hear you're enjoying your connection.

I just personally don't see the big deal versus what comcast offers though.

ehhh Rick, one sided views are generally not good for intelligent conversation.
BTW, the contract is 54/mo, not 73. Bsides, im not so sure Verizon implements Sandvine, which is more than what you can say about crapcast, which "mantains an enjoyable experience" for its customers that way, innit?

hmm..last i checked Comcast is certainly maintaining an enjoyable experience for me.

Perhaps your views are a bit too one sided?

I had been a comcast customer for over 7 years, the reason why I moved away from comcast was because I got tired of only receiving 14 HD channels, when I now get 85 with DirecTV. Comcast raised my rate to $57 a month for their basic 6/1 megabit offering.

Now I'm getting 85 HD channels, and I have a 20/5 connection for about 50 dollars less than what I was paying to Comcast.

At the end of the day, I feel that I'm getting better than what I originally had, and saving 50 bucks a month.
