When I first got this service, Verizon didn't show up. They went to the wrong apartment. A week later, they came and installed it.
It was $55/month for 30/5. I get 31/10. I can't complain.
I have never had downtime because of Verizon. The ONT sits in my closet as I live in an apartment. The RJ45 connector is attached via this little plastic thing on the 611 ONT I have, and it sucks.. it falls off sometimes, very easily, so the CAT5 won't make contact with the pins on the ONT.
They replaced it for free. And the guy even agreed to find the old ONT I was using since a new one might take away my 31/10.
I have used muguito on occasion and done a few terabytes. I can assure you there's no capping here, up or down.
The router they give you is weak, though. I got some Actiontec nonsense that would reboot itself all the time, but now I use a pentium II linux box as a router and all is breezy.
This is the best internet service I could hope for.
