    Ordered 15/2 Fios as soon as Verizon sent the notice letters in Harleysville, PA. Took about 4 months from when they ran the conduit to when they offered service.

    They installed a Motorola ONT. The techs were very accommodating for how I wanted it installed. I had them put the ONT in the house. They wanted to send up existing house coax despite me having pre-run and tested cat5e. I insisted on the cat5e.

    The entire process was only about 90 minutes for me. They have a lot of in-house wiring options. Either cat 5+ or coax. The techs are able to provision from their own laptops. The Actiontec router/firewall/switch is decent. I'm testing pure 15mb down/2.2mb up. No packet loss. I'm only 8 hops from most core networks. Never thought I'd live to see the day when my home is fiber connected to a tier 2 backbone. it rocks!

    Congratulations! I also have the 15/2 installed one week so far and the speed has been rock solid.....totally agree that FiOS vs Cable....there is no match/comparison.....at least in our areas
