    Recently upgraded to "25mb/15mb plan." Download has been pretty consistent whereas upload has been floating around a lot and for some reason really hard to get an accurate number. Have had tests which showed as low at 3mb upload up to 27,000-28000 kbps

    Last Result:
    Download Speed: 25678 kbps (3209.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
    Upload Speed: 23225 kbps (2903.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

    I ordered the fios about 3 weeks ago when they called saying it was available. I called back and they say March 6 install date. I said ok. The tech showed up at 12:00pm today (3-6-08) and was activating the account by 2:30 and left at 3:00 to make sure it was running smooth. Since I live at home my mother was of course talking to him the whole time. So it was really fast install. BBU is hidden in a box off to the side of my fireplace. He was fine with the location because I dont have a garage here. It made it easy because thats where the coaxial runs right though. I was given the actiontec modem.

    Update 07-15-08 Calling to bundle phone and internet and also to change package to 20/5. Will update with the news after the switch.

    Loss of download speed is close to Mbps whereas at 10/2 package loss of download of 200Kbps. This is with 185200 rwin. Much better results outside of dslreports speedtest sites.
