| "FIOS": FAR INFERIOR than OTHER SERVICES
My beef is with the HD only! 3 Fiber repair technicians, countless looooong technical phone calls, and trying new RG-6, boxes & splitters still results in a POOR HD picture. ON HD channels: Hazy picture, trails, sidebars, every channel quality looks different. According to the techs: "The readings are good, signal is good." I invite anyone thinking about switching to look at FIOS on my new Sharp Aquos 1080p. View it for yourself before switching. Comcast HD was much sharper, brighter, more colorful and all channels looked this same excellent quality. Sounds like something's wrong doesn't it? Maybe Verizon got in over their heads.

| Re: "FIOS": FAR INFERIOR than OTHER SERVICES Something is wrong with your wiring or something else. I have had the service for a year and a half, on four TV's: A 47" 1080P Vizio, a Toshiba 27" CRT SD TV, a generic 20" SD CRT TV, and a Mitsubishi 25" SD TV. All of these have great PQ.
To your HD performance, in my house, it couldn't be better. I'd escalate this to a supervisor, have them send more people. One possible thing could be that the signal is coming in too hot. Have the techs tried and attenuator on the line?

| Sorry but I've had both feeding my Panasonic 50 in plasma and Verizon's uncompressed video feed blows away Comcast. Your problems are specific to your install and you should follow the advice to escalate the call to get it fixed.
Once you see real uncompressed HD you understand what you've been missing.
