    My Other Reviews·Verizon Online DSL
    Considered staying with Comcast or moving to FiOS. Intermittent problem, seemingly unfixable with Comcast upload sealed the changeover to FiOS

    Signed up for the 20/5 tier at 52.99/mo - 2years. Higher speeds than my old Comcast Blast! for same price point.

    Ordered via internet on Monday, install on Wednesday in 3 hours (just internet). Installer very good - worried more about quality of work than time spent doing it.

    I wanted ONT to CAT5 setup which they did no problem to enable use of my own router. They gave me the MI424WR if I should need it in the future.

    Speed tests over the last week (since install) show very consistent levels regardless of time of day/night (no surprise). Speeds run about 5-10% below 20/5. (to NYC from Boston)

    Edit: One week after install got a landline call from Verizon asking if all was OK. They also offered a $50 "bill reduction" for referring a new customer.
