    I changed over from DSL to FiOS....barely 700k to 20/5m (then 15/2). Wow, what a difference! Cable modem was never really an option since I had an excellent package with DirecTV. The ordering process was painless, as was the install. The only hiccup, was the technician charged me for an additional wireless router (what a DINK!!!! Sorry Chris!).

    Aside from having the RF port on my original ONT fail, upgrading to FiOS TV was easy as well, 19 months after the initial installation.
