I ordered the FiOS Triple Play offer. I am currently receiving FiOS Extreme HD Package, HBO/Cinemax/Movie, 20/5 Internet, (1) Home Media HD DVR, (1) HD STB, (3) SD STB, phone, and wireless. The HD picture quality is great. There are over 102 HD channels listed in the media guide. The internet connection is really fast with the 20/5 internet. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Verizon FiOS service. I received a deal for $69.99 and then $99.99 for months 7-12. HBO/Cinemax/Movie is free for 30 days and Home Media HD DVR is free for 12 months.

| Re: hope you no Know, I dont work for verizon, but, I have the fios, triple play, and its $104.00 a mont here in, MD, if you upgrade to 20/5 internet, thats $10 more now your up to $114 add taxes, $15 now your up to $129, add in stars $11 add in HBO and CINAMAX for $29 combined, your up two $169 add a HD, dvr, for $16 your up to $175. If you use 411 thats 75 cents a pop add in a regular settop boxs, for, $5 your up to $180 something. Add in a sports package protection plan, and yeah you'er going over $200. most average $160 manly because they cant afford all the extras. And who gets fios with out HD, and a movie package. no matter what taxes and settop boxes bring your total to $140 to $160. | |

| I spent some time with a FIOS agent asking about the costs for FIOS AFTER the first year. The cost for a bundle would come to $210 month including about $16-20 for fees & taxes. The $99.99 is for the first year. After that the cost goes up. Call and ask about this before committing yourself. FIOS sounds like a good deal if you are willing to pay for it for the long haul. I did include cost for a second phone line $50 mo. So if you stick with a single phone line cost would be between $160 & 175 (depending on location-taxes/fees) mo. after the first year. | |

@cox.net | Fios phone Why pay for phone via Verizon? there are several VOIP companies that charge about 10 bucks a month...no hassle, no charges for 411. Many overseas calls are free. Works great! | |
