If you can get fios defently get it I ordered the 20/5 package and at first i was upset running a speed test from dslreports.com im only showing about 3/2 Then i ran a speed test from the test site verizon recomends still was only showing 10/2 These speed test arent accurate. I loaded up my usenet client and i am downloading steady at 19.5 mbit Its amazing downloading a full dvd movie in around 20 min And the price isnt much higher then what i was paying for my dry loop dsl line. It took 1 week from when i ordered to the install I cant complain although it was probly one of the longest weeks of my life. The install was simple I easily could have hooked it up my self if i had the supplys The only complain i really could have is I wanted to know everything about how the system worked and the imstaller really didnt know anything about it except to match up the color coded wires But hay at 20 mbit i can google all the questions i had and have the answers loaded up before i cant even process half the information

| FiOs in Cumberland Co., NJ?! I am very much a novice - just signed up for Verizon DSL and I'm waiting to start up. However, my interest in DSL came about because of my interest in FiOs. I see that you share my zipcode. I was unaware that there was any availability in the Cumberland County, NJ area, so I am quite surprised. When I signed up for DSL, I was only eligible for 3mbs.
If I may ask, where are you located (just in general). Are you in the city proper or in one of the outlying townships? | |
