Now I don't remember the exact date of the install (had service for a little over a month), and I wasn't at home, but the finished product is neat, clean, and professionally done.
Internet: I originally ordered the 20mb/5mb plan, but have since upgraded to the 25/15 plan and let me say, my torrent downloads peak at 1.1MB a sec or better, when gaming on PlayStation Network with my PS3 i always have the best ping time. All speedtest advertise me at around 26mb down / 23mb up. The actiontec router running the latest firmware released is nothing but superb as well. It features a great SPI firewall, with logging and fully functioning UPnP so all my apps set their required port forwarding correctly and automatically. 95% of the web pages i browse provided their host have a high speed connection load instantly. Of course running the latest firefox helps.
HDTV: I have the extreme HD and movie package and let me just say, that when watching Discovery channel, or USA HD, TNT HD, TBS-HD, forgetting that your watching cable television and not a blu ray is not an uncommon thing. The cable boxes are very fast and responsive, there is no delay between switching channels and having an image on the screen.
Digital Voice: All phone calls are crystal clear.
Bottom Line: Nothing available right now is beating verizon, the quality of all the services offered combined with the lowest prices, you honestly have no reason not to. You will be spending less money then if you had Comcast. My price has been locked in for the next two years.
Not to attack Comcast, but it is what it is.
