    The very moment I was aware that the service was available in my area, I ditched Comcast and switched to Fios. That was 2006 and so far to this day (Sept. 2009) I've been very happy

    fios vs comcast

    I dumped comcast due to email issues and lousy support policy.
    Had to use dial up and dsl in the interim but finally got fios phone/internet.
    Clean install and no problems since.
