I went ahead and ordered a bundle with TV, internet and phone. Having had DSL for many years now, getting FiOS was refreshing. Download and upload speeds are much faster and there's very little latency. The only problem is the Actiontec router. The user interface is clunky and hard to navigate around. So far I haven't had an issue with the low NAT table capacity, but that issue will probably arise when I use Steam or anything requiring many connections.
TV service is also excellent. Great channel selection and picture quality for both HD and SD, though their HD lineup is starting to lag behind cable.
Expect to spend some time on the phone with customer service. They'll read off a generic troubleshooting script like most level-1 support people regardless of what your problem is. If you have a problem, I'd probably just post in the Verizon Direct forum here to get it resolved quicker. Billing issues will come up every once in a while; it takes about an hour on the phone to get it fixed.
The bottom line is, if FiOS is in your area, get it.
