This is the second residence that fios was available. I've been a customer going on 4 years now. I never really considered comcast because I actually take advantage of the incredible download speeds and not having to worry about a cap is nice too.
I've got the 35/35 package. I routinely see pretty much max downloads, but the uploads are never anywhere near advertised. This doesn't bother me.
I signed up for the triple play and found myself with a landline that I never, ever use. The bottom line amount for this speed tier worked out in my favor. My total bill is $146/m and I got socked with a 2 year commit just before verizon ended the practice. This isn't an issue at all for me. I'd like to find a way to lower my bill, but I would definitely look to stay with fios for my internet connection.
