After I got a new apartment, I compared my 2 options for Internet: Cable or FIOS. I have had both in the past and was happier with FIOS for the speed. Reliability on both were fine but when you compare the speed/price ratio, FIOS was my choice.

Order/install went fine but it was partially because I had already run the coax. The only other hitch was that the tech didn't give me the account information to log on and create email/subaccounts; I had to call customer service to get it.

Service was fine for 3 years; don't remember so much as a single outage.

Then, I moved and called for a disconnect. Service was terminated all right but the bills (to my credit card) continued for 4 months. Several calls to customer service were able to get me refunds credited to the card but the charges would re-appear in full. The only way I was able to fix it was to dispute the charges to the credit card company.

Overall, I recommend their connection. Probably the best Internet service I have had.
