I have had DSL (well, dial-up before that), cable and finally Verizon FIOS. I originally started out with the 20/20Mbps package, at $74.99, and later upgraded to the 25/25 speed, since gone up to $79.99, after digging around on the VZ website.

The whole process was pretty good. No major problems at all. Originally I had problems getting to the speed promised but after complaining I now frequently get a bit over the advertised speed.

The service came with an Actiontec MI424WR. I am in the process of swapping it out with a 10/100/1000 and N equipped router.

I don't have any truly bad things to say except anything associated with Verizon's web presence is heavily Windows-biased.
