I signed up with Surpass »www.surpasshosting.com/ over a year ago. I decided on the Power plan with 5GB Space/ 200GB Monthly Bandwidth for a personal graphics website. The cost is $65/year or $6/monthly.
The experience could not have been better, support was fantastic.
I got off to a rocky start because the hard drive went out on the server I was on but tech support was quick with a response. They immediately started work to resolve the problem, keeping me updated throughout the day on their progress. Less than 24 hours later my site was up and running.
Days from order to success would have been 1 had there not been a problem with the new server.
In the beginning I had a couple of silly newbie questions, placed a ticket with tech support and had answers to my questions within minutes, on a Sunday morning no less. The following day I emailed support about a change to my account that required Admin. assistance. Within a half hour, I had received 2 replies and my request had been honored.
Their on line community »surmunity.com/ is an added bonus. I would (and have) recommend Surpass hosting to anyone looking for a reliable, professional web host.
Update: I have since cancelled my account with Surpass and shut down my website due to time constraints. I saw no reason to keep a website that I no longer had time to keep updated. In the future if I manage to find the extra time to devote to a website, I will go running straight back to Surpass without hesitation and will continue to recommend them to others.
