NOTE: My location is medford, where I am useing Sabernet is not in Medford Or. I am useing Sabernet when I am in California, Oroville

    Update: 2 nov 07 . .

been a month, seems by coincidence, 2 days after I wrote this review, connection drops and so did customer's service (support). Rather then finding where or what the problem is, all they want you to do is tweek your computer or dial down your connection.

That is pretty much lame and shows lack of support, all they are interested in, is the $$ going into their pockets.

it is not easy to actually do a straight and honest review since Sabernet has nothing to do with the phone lines to the home.

I can say their tech support has been outstanding . . it is just unfortunate that bad phone lines , unreliable phone lines makes it hard to give a true review, not to mention bad connections.

because the the bad connections your not getting what your paying for, Saber sez its the phone lines . . talked with phone company and you have a better chance of a dead dog fetching that stick, then the phone company fixing there lines.

so it is hard to say if the drops are from line or with sabernet . . you would think if the phone lines are bad, so would the connection . not the case. actually connection is best if a storm came in unannounced , what I mean is, if the news sez a windy storm was coming, connection if any exist, but if news did not get the report right, and had the storm, connection is like, no storm . . makes things kinda questionable if Sabernet is not just dialing down the speeds.

Value for the money . . connection never comes close to what they say they offer, again can not say if it is line or the ISP . end result still the same, not getting what your paying for.

I have talked with others that have sabernet but live inside city limits . . they are not having any issues and praise their connections , I spent a little time using the connection at there home going to the web sites I go to, and it was more reliable, some slow speeds then what I should have had, so I suspect it may just be the phone lines and blame phone company ..
