Speed is 5M/800K, for $39.95 uncapped. Extra $8 for 8 static ips but uses PPPOE session which gives a dynamic ip, then once authorized, your subnet is initiated. I don't pretend to understand it. All servers are allowed.
For me it was important to find an ISP that allowed servers, had static ip available, but the awesome peering is what really keeps me as a customer. When i first joined, Peer1 was the peer, now it's through Alter.net, which has added a couple more hops to the NYC server I frequent, but the latency is still well below any other dsl isp I have tried to date. avg pings are 16-24 ms to NYC.
Because this company is very small, tech support through telephone is hard, but they do respond if you leave a message. Although if connectivity is not the issue, help is most always available through IM.
I'm very happy with this ISP.
If you want budget dsl, this place is not for you. They say their goal is to keep great equipment/peering for their customers who are those that demand quality and are willing to spend a bit more to have it.
Two years later, and I still think this is the best option for anyone who needs quality peering and wants to run servers.
