With Ebox since February 2012
In Quebec, you better get their cable service than FTTN.

Good:
You pay less.
Service is very reliable.
Speed test always at 105% of my speed even at peak hour.
For 5$/month you get Unlimited download 2am-2pm + Unlimited upload 24/7 (on cable).
75GB transfer bloc, 5$ each, max 4 (can be order anytime before end of month)

You pay less but:
"IP Transit" used by Ebox are not as good as those used by Videotron, Rogers, Bell, etc.
High latency to some servers compare to Videotron, Rogers, Bell, etc.
(Ping to montreal3.voip.ms: 33ms)
Access to some streaming sites can be slow at peak hours.
Customer service is lower than Videotron.
No online customer portal.

Au Québec, il est préférable de prendre leur service câble que FTTN.

Pour:
Vous payez moins.
Service très fiable.
Test de vitesse toujours à 105% de ma vitesse, même en période de pointe.
Pour 5$/mois vous obtenez download illimité 2:00-14:00 + upload illimité 24/7 (sur le câble).
Bloc de 75GB, 5$ chaque, max 4 (peuvent être ajouté n'importe quand avant la fin du mois)

Vous payez moins mais:
Les "Transit IP" utilisés par Ebox ne sont pas d'aussi bonne qualité que ceux utilisés par Vidéotron, Rogers, Bell, etc.
Latence élevé avec certains sites comparé à Videotron, Rogers, Bell, etc.
(Ping vers montreal3.voip.ms: 33ms)
L'accès à certains sites de "streaming" peut être lent en période de pointe.
Le service à la clientèle est moins bon que Vidéotron.
Pas de portail client libre-service.
