Value for money:
Hawaiian Telecom is the current provider, when I first got DSL 12 years ago the service was provided by Verizon as a pure data connection with my ISP being Flex.com AKA Shaka.com which was a great value at that time for monthly fees of 34.00 dollars for the data connection and 25.00 dollars for the ISP. Flex did not provide any technical support and never has it is a NO frills ISP which was great for a experienced user. The data line was 3MB down and 768K up for the above mentioned costs. I had a static 7 MB up and 768 down business line for about 6 years and switched to a more cost effective dynamic with a 14 MB down and 1 MB up connection with Hawaiian Telcom about 3 years ago. No ISP costs so I save 23.00 bucks a month since the new service is 36.00 with tax per month. Technical support is great in my opinion, 3 years and only 3 service calls because I wanted to know something about their equipment capabilities for static service in my area again-to see if the cost went down (no luck), I did not have a service issue.
I am satisfied with this service.
