    Hawaiian Telephone is the current provider, when I first got DSL 6 years ago the service was provided by Verizon as a pure data connection with my ISP being Flex.com AKA Shaka.com which was a great value at that time for monthly fees of 34.00 dollars for the data connection and 25.00 dollars for the ISP. Flex does not provide any technical support and never has it is a NO frills ISP which is great for a experienced user. The data line was 3MB down and 768K up for the above mentioned costs. The order and install process was 1 week in total, waited for the DSL modem for 4 days installed on day 5 with no technical support. The modem was a Westell that was terrible so I purchased a Zoom 6+ that is great and has the capability to upgrade to DSL 2+ which is 24M down and 8M up-good hardware in my opinion. I have had no bad experiences other than having to move to Hawaiian Telcom completely to get the new 11 MB data package, I now pay 5 bucks more for 8M increase in speed.
