I was on Charter till June or July. They switched us to their backbone around August or September. It was ok till December. They did an "upgrade". I was offline for 2 weeks while we did the whole, "Turn off the computer, un-plug the modem, un-plug the router, plug the modem back in, plug the router back in, turn on the computer. Hmm that didn't work, let's reprovision. Hmm that didn't work. We'll send a truck out." Come to find out, the fried my personal Motorola modem with their "upgrade." I wasn't the only one that had problems with their own modem. So now I am paying 5 bucks more a month for their modem and the speed has gotten worse. Speed tests here went from 3100 in December to 2400 now in February.
Overall. I think they need to look at their tech support and get their engineering department to talk together so the techs know what is going on with the network instead of saying that there is no know problems.
