    I had signed up for the service back in November of 2006 and at that time Suddenlink was using Qwest as the backhaul provider in the Mont Belvieu and Baytown area. There were constant outages and complete saturation on the uplink that at some times all I would get was 200K down and almost 56k up. Since then they have moved to using Verio as the provider for there uplink and things are better. Although there are better speeds now the upload could be better and every once in a while I experience outages last 4-6 hours due to fiber issues as I am told. I have inquired about better speeds and have been told that at this time there are no plans even though Verizon is rolling out FIOS to my neighborhood. Once that happens then I am jumping and probably will not look back.
