I started out with Cox and now have Suddenlink service after the buyout. I have the "preferred level" service (4mbps/512kbps) at $39/mo. I am experiencing intermittent loss of signal since the system speed upgrade work started. The modem occasionally loses synch. briefly and in a few seconds it reconnects. I haven't had any experience with sales or installs since I was already connected when Suddenlink took over. I have also not needed to contact tech support for any problems. Except for the very brief dropouts, the connection works very well for me. The upgrade to 8mbps for "preferred level" will be appreciated.

    Latest speed test: 4003 down/ 434 up , latency 34ms

Modem: Toshiba PCX 2000 (4 years old). Any suggestions for a new modem?

Anyone heard when the new speed upgrades will be available in Jonesboro?
