UPDATE: My last review was almost 3.5 yrs ago and we are still stuck with the same speed tiers of 8Mb and 10Mb down in my area. We also don't have VOD, but they have been very good about consistently adding more HD channels. I believe we are at around 48 if you include the premiums.

I know they are upgrading areas with their project imagine initiative. I'm just ready for our area to be one of them.

Previous review:
Our area was previously COX and then Suddenlink took over. After first taking over the HSI connection would drop and go out or D/L speeds would cut in half, which never happened when COX was running things. But in the past few months things have gotten much better. I haven't had any disconnects and D/L speed was doubled (4Mb to 8Mb/5Mb to 10Mb). I still experience lag every once in a while when downloading a file or opening web pages.

I think they are doing much better and hope they continue to improve. I also recently added the HD package. They FINALLY started offering it in my area. (around October 07).
