Both television and my internet have been pretty solid for quite a while now,but like utilities they raise their rates far too often when it exactly isn't needed,it's greed plain and simple.

Sheesh

And please tell me what cable company lets you choose the exact channels you want while not raising your rates every year?

Re: Sheesh

Well he is true. Don't know of a company that lets you pick and choose your own package. And every year prices go up it seems like with every company. Gets old, but that's life.

Re: Sheesh

Actually, that's not true... as a former worker for Verizon FiOS, and a current subscriber to them, I can tell you I picked the exact channels I wanted, and initially was paying 119.99 a month for a year, for all 3 services *internet, phone, tv" and after my contract was up for that year, I rebundled with FiOS and I now pay 109.99 a month, so not only did I pick what I wanted, but my price went down.

If you can get fios, I say get it.. unless you live in areas like Philly because honestly when I worked for Fios Philly was the biggest complaint area because the fiber optics just weren't working well with the ancient wiring coming into houses where we had to convert at the ONT...

Suddenlink is crap

Saw a commercial today for suddenlink, stating weather didn't effect their service. What a complete lie. If it even drizzles, the Internet goes out and the tv is worthless. Glad I don't use a home phone or I'm sure I'd be pissed about something with that. Overall, I'm done with suddenlink, a dish can't be this bad tv wise nor this slow, Internet wise. If you have a choice, any choice at all, don't use suddenlink.
