Aside from a few major fuck-ups at the beginning both my connections are rock solid now. I will say the majority of the techs I dealt with are incompetent at best (aside from Randy, Thanks again for going above and beyond) and have no rights doing the job they are doing. The hold times for support are brutal and the "time left message on hold" counts backwards for some ridiculous reason.

I knew what I was getting into before I switched providers with the many negative reviews on support but for the cost for a year I'm going to say it's still worth the bullshit you have to endure with in dealing with support at startup.

I will be opening up a ticket to try and receive some sort of compensation for my troubles and if all goes well I'll probably renew with them for another year and just cross my fingers hoping for no technical issues.

Update Sept 13, 2011 (Updated Tech Support column from 0, Getting Better!)

Had a minor issue which required me to call in to Tech Support and of course after wasting 3 hours on hold the system decided to promptly hang up on me. Bit my tongue and hit the Acanac forums here and posted a thread in which Lynn promptly replied to. Pretty much within the hour I received a call from Support and the issue was taken care of. BRAVO ACANAC! Great support...Now you need to hire a few more Lynn's to help get things done!

Update December 15th 2011

Well another year has come and gone. We received a small bump in speed compliments of the Bell being forced to which is nice. Connection has been very solid and have not had any issues since last update.

Wife and I have decided to stick with Acanac for another year for our 2 connections. Feel much better knowing I can get better support on Acanac forum via Dslreports instead of having to call in and deal with 2 hour wait and risk getting a hang-up jockey.
