I finally got rid of Hughes Satellite. It got so bad and tech support was so bad I just gave up. I have no high speed options where I live so I went with Verizon Wireless. I am in a fringe area, therefore, I float in and out of broadband. I use it 99% of the time at home. I have taken it to a more "city" area and the speed there is really good. I guess it is a little better than satellite, but if you can get local broadband, get it instead unless you are a traveler!

6/9/09 It's been a long wait but I finally got fiber optics about 6 weeks ago. I am in fiber heaven. No more Verizon Wireless, no more Satellite, just good steady speed.
