I recently purchased a new line of service on my account and decided to get the Blackberry Tour for myself which comes with the free HP Mini netbook; and upgrade my other line (was a storm) to an EnV3 for my Fiancé.

The HP Mini takes a bit of getting used to (It has a small keyboard) but its very nice, and comes spec'ed out well compared to other netbooks. I use it on wifi where I can, but the broadband card built in is very stable and gets pretty good speeds.

Overall I would recommend it. The rep at the short pump, va location who set it all up was not as knowledgeable as I would have liked but she was very good in going over things with me that she does know about.

    5G? not a limit

While the FREE bandwidth is 5G, additional GB of bandwidth are only $.05 per if you have the NationalAccess ($60 month) plan.

I watch movies from my laptop in a VERY remote, rural area where I barely get 2-3 bars... not the best compression but the 11GB extra I used this month costs me only $.55

Just saying... I'm not that happy with the speeds I get, but given that I am in the mountains of northern california, 60 miles from the nearest real town, it's okay, if a bit expensive.

Note that I DID purchase a $20 external attenna to improve on my signal, which took my RSSI from the nineties down into the eighties. (dBm)

You are wrong that is NOT .05 per GB!! Please do not pass on false information. That is per kb or MB not GB...
