    You cannot really find other options, as TTnet makes sure to keep any competition at bay, being that their owner, Turk Telekom owns the fiber optic networks.
    4Mbps/1Mbps is the speed

    TurkTelekom makes sure it pro-actively censor any content that may or may not be detrimental to the Turkish government. Countless websites are blocked, albeit most via DNS, so using FreeDNS.org usually does the trick.

    All of whom live in Turkey could agree with me as to wanting more than one head-honcho providing reliable broadband services.

    TTNet offers various "packages" in which both the connection speed and monthly download capacity vary from limited to (theoretically) unlimited downloads and T1 speeds.

    For example, a "1024/256kbps" connection with a cap of 1G per month costs 21.80YTL (less than $20.00US) per month not including VAT and "ozel iletisim vergisi" (private communications tax). With taxes, the monthly cost is actually approximately 31.00YTL (less than $30.00US) for this package.

    Subscribers should note that the Turkish government can and routinely does censor connections to websites which it believes violate Turkish law due to the nature of the websites' content.

    Customer service is unremarkable as one might expect from what is theoretically a private concern but in practice remains a tightly controlled government monopoly. That said, there are truly private ISPs within Turkey. These ISPs lease lines from TTNet. Some people believe that the extra costs associated from using a private ISP are worth it due to perceived better customer service from a truly private provider.

    Foreigners should bear in mind that a photo ID or, preferrably, a passport or residence permit is mandatory and must be shown when applying for an internet account with any ISP.
