Static IP will cost you $37, forced gateway lease, connection reliability getting worse.
Expensive with no other competition.

Value for money:

Had it for a couple of weeks now. No problems so far. Coming from DSL the speeds are insane

Update 12/20/2014:
The service is still OK although I've had a couple of short outages that I resolved by rebooting the gateway. What I'm not liking is the constant price increases and also the fact that you cannot buy your own modem if you have a static IP. This forces you to pay additional $13 for rental (which is an increase from $10) Also the cost of a single static IP ($15 soon to be $20) is in my opinion too high. This makes it less value for money.
Points taken off for reliability and overall value.

Update 2/4/2015
Updated price. A single static IP is now $33.

Update 9/3/2015
Upgraded to 50/10. Service and speed are good, my only gripe is the price. I pay $120 for 50/10 and a single static IP. Comcast is the only game in town so not much I can do...

Update 1/14/2016
Another year, another price increase. $126 for 50/10 and a single static IP. Single static IP is now $35!

Update 1/7/2019
Reliability is down, prices are up. Single static IP is almost $37!

need to recheck your info

You can use your own modem but it's a smaller list to choose from then residential service. However if you want a static IP, then yes you will have to use their device. Not sure if the $33 for a static is right, it's $14 in my area (still too high)

Re: need to recheck your info

Here is my math:

Static IP: $20
Forced SMC gateway lease: $13

You need to negotiate

I have a comcast device, it's included in my business package, no extra rent. I have it in bridge mode to use my own firewall etc. Also, there are a couple customer owned devices they will do static IP's on, but they removed the details on that from the website. Regardless when I setup my account I was told if I got a static IP it would be $14 a month and they would continue to not bill me for their cisco3939b they gave me. I did sign a 3 year contract, so that might be the difference
