Update 4/10/11
Took advantage of the Free HD for Life. Called Dish and an installer came the next day. Set up new dish and receiver.Took about 45 minutes. Picture looks fantastic. Of course it does. It's HD.

And all for the same price I was paying per month.

Update 3/22/11
Well Dish increased their package prices by $5. Saw this coming since it has been a few years since the last price increase. Still the best deal for us over other providers in the area. $44.99 per month (2 tv's) and that includes 5 Cinemax channels. In addition Dish is giving 1 Encore and 7 Starz channels free until March 2012 to subscribers.

I sent back the additional Dual Tuner 322 receiver (Provided service to Bedrooms) since now Dish counts that has 2 separate receivers and started charging me $14 a month instead of the $5 a month charge. Was not worth it for the amount of time watching TV up there. OTA works fine on those 2 sets as well as with the $14 a month savings we subscribed to Netflix so we can stream movies and tv's shows.

Update 4/4/10
With the whole scam now of charging people for a duo receiver the same as if they have 2 separate receivers I wanted to exchange my duo receiver for 2 separate ones so I can have the benefit of having my 2 other TV's hooked up this way. The cost is still the same $7 each or $14 for the duo. Now I am told after 5 years of service that DISH will charge me $149 for each receiver to do this. DISH has changed the terms on why I went with DISH and the duo receivers. I did this to save $5 per TV. Now they raised it to $7 and charged me as if I have 2 separate receivers. $14 monthly. Very disgusted on how I was treated after over 5 years as a customer.

Update 5/10/09 No issues with programing or service. Still cheaper then cable and you can't beat the picture quality.

Update: No issues with service. Since switching over to automatic bill pay DISH gave me 5 channels of Cinemax for 2 years at 1 penny a year.

I had DirecTV for 7 years without problems. When I moved I switched to DISH for the dual tuner 322 receivers’ they have. I have 4 TV’s hooked up and only pay an additional $5.00. A savings of $10.00. The second tuner works by a UHF remote and I have had no issues. One receiver in my basement feeds the TV there as well as the TV in the first floor living room. Second receiver on the second floor feeds the TV in our master bedroom as well as a second TV in one of the other bedrooms used as a family/game room. All 4 TV’s can watch any channel separate from the other TV’s. Great picture and price.
