AT&T has a fiber to the home section in my town and fortunately I live in that section. Unfortunately the technicians aren't all up to snuff on how to install and support FTTH.

The first installer came out and ran the line. He had to get a fiber specialist out to finish the job due to issues he had during his install.

It then took a few weeks to get the fiber buried. This made me very nervous since my area is all new construction and the fiber is so thin/brittle.

The whole home DVR is very nice and reliable. However, the TV picture quality isn't nearly as good as DirecTV so I switched to DirecTV for TV.

The home internet is also very fast and reliable, but the capped data usage is a definite downside to the service. I'm currently investigating my options to find something without a cap. Maybe I'll end up with Comcast Business class.
