    My Other Reviews·Comcast
Ordered U300 package initially. Tech arrived early. I ran Cat5e myself so the tech was happy all he had to do was add a new demarc on the ext. wall and plug in the boxes. The whole process took about 3 hours with an hour being consumed on waiting for a different tech to run a new aerial.

Added voice and data 3 weeks later. ATT insisted on rolling a tech, probably because I had to sign for the phone number port. The day of the circuit turnup, I checked to see if it was live. It was and I was redirected to the acct. setup page and was live in two minutes (two hours before tech arrival). Phone was also live. The number port wasn't complete. Inbound still routing to old phone co. but outbound shows proper callerid.

Tech arrived and the number port was completed in about 10 minutes. He gave me my UPS and that was it.

Wife loves the dvr. (She never could program the vcr). Picture quality excellent. Call quality good. Speeds are as advertised. For $20 more per month than I was paying for other services I think the added channels & dvr are well worth it.

The only thing I didn't like was the online availability checker. There is a court down the block with same name as my street. Service was available on the court but not my street. So I ordered service using the court as my address. When the tech called on install day I told him about the mixup and how it happened all the time. There was no problem with the install at all. I made sure that my proper address was in the billing address and everything is fine. I could of had service months earlier without this little problem.
