Our satellite was giving us fits, so we decided to make the switch to U-Verse, and so far, I'm not disappointed. Internet performance is no worse, and maybe better, it feels that way. Upload is higher. TV is nice, and the new features we have like DVR make it worth the little bit extra we paid for it.
The installation delay was due to me having DHCP running on my server, and it also runs on the RG, and apparently the STBs have to see the DHCP on the RG. Which is fine, I can re-configure my server, but caused a 2 hour delay. Apparently not many U-Verse users are running a server in the home.
