    My Other Reviews·Verizon Wireless B..
I ordered the U300 television package with the 6/1 internet tier, and VoIP. Premises Tech came on time and went through my house set up. There were some provisioning issues from the VRAD that were causing sync issues, but was resolved in a few hours. The original installation was all coax. I was put on the 25/2 profile so I am able to get everything AT&T has to offer. After logging in to my account I found out I was able to upgrade TV package to U450 for one month free. I did so. Also upgraded to the 12/1.5 internet for a cash back reward. A few days went by and I started to see a few errors on my RG and that my upload speed dipped well below 2048. I got a hold of U-verse tech support and they scheduled a tech to come by less than 2 days. Tech came out and ran cat5 from RG to NID and was getting sync issues again. Found out it was a VRAD issue, and a service tech was called in. He went to the VRAD and put me on a new port. Flawless. RG synced up in less than 10 seconds. TV works flawless, internet is fast and VoIP works great.

What kind of latency/ping are you getting?

I'm just curious, what kind of latency/ping are you getting? Still no Uverse/DSL where I'm at, although I think I'm right at one mile from the soon to be Uversed VRAD. Let's hope it comes soon....

Re: What kind of latency/ping are you getting?

Really it depends on which server I use for a speed test. Also all of my speed tests have been done on my wireless. I have had as low as ~8ms to like 300ms but usually around 20-30 ms

My remote central office for my DSL drop is 2800' away.

    I posted 100ms latency.

Thanks....I would love to have 20-30ms pings!, I saw some trucks with a back hoe around the VRAD/DSLAM today. I think they are hooking up the fiber they laid last spring.
