What other options did you consider for broadband. None. Previously had DirectTV and AT&T DSL for about 8 years and was happy with them. I was waiting for this service to be available before changing.
What SPEED/package did you order, at what monthly price? U200 and 6meg internet service. I was able to get about the same amount of channels and faster internet then with my old set up for about $10 less per month.
How was the order & install process? Order and install went great. I ordered on line and got the $200 cash back promo. Got a Visa gift card in the mail about a month later. The install went well. Between the guys here in the direct forum And a very helpful area manager my install was monitored closely and what few problems they ran into they were able to fix on the spot.
I ran all the cat5 and new coax prior to the installation so they only needed to make a few connections when the time came.
What brand/model was the supplied equipment? -3 set top boxes: All Cisco IP330HD and 1 DVR. Also Cisco -2Wire 3800 HGV-B residential gateway
What good or bad experiences most struck you? The only bad experience I've had so far was when some guys digging a few houses down cut my line. AT&T got that fixed the next day.Other then that, the service has been rock solid and I have had no problems.
Update:5/1/2011 Nothing of interest to report really, System bugged me for an update so I thought I would. I upgraded to the 12 meg internet a while back. I use it daily for playing online with my PS3. Service has been basically flawless since install. So there ya go! Still love it. Now stop bugging me, system.
