I ordered U200 and Elite Internet (6 m down, 1 meg up). I have 4 TV's with three regular set top boxes and 1 whole house DVR. All set top boxes are Motorola and the Residential Gateway is a 2Wire 3800.
I am getting over 5.5 down and .9 up on speed tests to DLSReports speed test sites and that is quite satisfactory for my use.
I ordered on line and that went smoothly, except that the promised email confirming the install date within 24 hours never came. I had to call to confirm the install date and time. That is essentially the only negative on the whole process.
On the install date, the technician called prior to his designated arrival time to advise that he was on the way. The install went smoothly and everything went as planned, except that an hour after he left, the DVR died. I called the tech on his cell phone and he returned withing 1/2 hour with a new DVR and apologized for the inconvenience. Essentially, I thought that this was a real positive for customer service.

Well, almost a year has past and I am still very satisfied with U-Verse.
