Update 5/22/11, 2 months since install: Everything has gone well with TV/Internet/Phone service. TV (U450) is giving clear pictures with no problems. Internet speed is stable and consistent with throughput around 11.5/1.3 for 12/1.5 connection. No static on phone (prior to VOIP there was some during any rain). Overall a good experience for the price.
I was with AT&T DSL and upgraded to a U-verse bundle on the 12/1.5 Mbps Internet speed package. Install techs (inside and out) were professional and efficient. After 10 days everything is working fine. Pricing (even without the initial discounts) for Internet, phone and TV is less than what I had with AT&T and DirecTV together. Gateway is 3801HGV with a Cisco IPN4320 DVR and Cisco IPN330HD STB's. The new NID has a Cat5 run to the gateway then Cat5 to DVR and coax to two STB's. Since it was a bundle install it took about 4 hours.
The price quote I was given by sales rep and signed up for was less than what AT&T had for billing but one call and the original pricing was honored. Price listed at the header of the review is for Internet only. So far so good.

South Elgin, IL | I switched over as well. We went from ATT/DSL to U-verse. You can't beat the price. Set up was easy. Working great as well.

White Plains, NY | Re: Pricd honored 800.288.2020 and got bumped up to retention. I guess since it was within the first 30 days of service they didn't want me canceling so retention got it immediately. Retention had the price quote on hand in the system apparently. | |
