I was excited to move into a U-Verse area and a happy customer for months, but AT&T's decision to implement draconian bandwidth caps because they don't like Netflix is a problem for a household with two Netflix accounts, two heavily used Steam accounts, and two people who work from home and have heavy VoIP use (which the U-Verse router always seemed to try to defeat).
We paid a LOT of money for the service, and were happy to do so, but being told we would get a bandwidth cap for using our connection for more than 2% of the billing period was too hard of a smack in the face for a former fan.
As an aside, the billing department made gaffes regularly and regularly charged us for two months because they failed to auto-bill after signing up for auto-bill at least 3, probably 4 times. Months after they are still sending us random and confusing notices that billing has been canceled, auto-pay canceled, it's incredibly annoying.
