Signed up, told I could not self install so I they scheduled a service tech to come out with equipment. Got a phone message to be home between 12-4pm on the scheduled day. No tech ever showed up so I called and after being transfer and repeating my issue to 3 different customer service reps I was told it was a 2 day ticket and I needed to be home for 2 days for installation! I said then please cancel my service order I'll go with another service. They kept me on the phone so long the other department closed and I was told to call back the next day if I wanted to end the service. The next day at 8 am I was on the phone and after repeating my issue to 2 reps I was transferred to the "service retention department" well he just killed it! The hard sell, like he was going to force the service on me. No way would I stay with U-verse.

I now have a bill for a total of $296 for service that I never got. $149 for an installation tech who never showed up and $100 of modem/router equipment the tech was supposed to install that I never received, $35 for a month of service, plus tax.

When I called about the bill I was told the installation tech signed off that he came and installed the equipment!

U-verse has even more problems than their poor customer service, their staff lies, cheats and is ripping off customers, so beware!!!
