My mom likes NETFLIX.
She called the and said she is getting ripped off. They told me that they did not have any ports. She calls again while I was out getting KFC and low and behold we got 3MB connection. Worked for maybe 3 hours then started buffering again.
I did a speed test and get 3MB/768. Did a ping test and barley got 1.5..
Resetting the modem does nothing.
I did see a diagnostic page saying something about IPDSLAM.. IF I AM CORRECT they do have full U verse in this are but shoving her with a sucky 1.5 line.
We just would like some answers.
Well after the long dreaded ordeal with Cox and most know what I am talking about Cox decided to refuse
The right to do business with me and ultimately closed my account.. Yes I will own up And say I did get mad
And said some profanity.. They took it as harassment and vexing. So they shut me down. Well att does not do that and I got mad with att as well but they Understood. Well back with att a smooth transition I got 6mb 1.5 up I am happy its all we need for now.
Lets color the confused a bit so he can understand. We had AT&T that would not give us 6 Mbps if you can enjoy reading the Whole review. Cox gain access to serve the building we canceld AT&T and went Cox. We had issues with there video service and some other issues with telephone. We rarely had issues with there Internet. So I called hem to complain they said that I was complaining about nothing to find out they did have a issue here they fixed. Then we had the issue again we called. We got a certified letter in the mail stating there not going to roll any more techs out here.
They fixed the secound issue with there whole home box. Then yet again we had a box the overheated and would not operate. The said they were going to send a tech well guess what the tech got canceled and I got another certified letter saying my service will be interrupted forever they no longer want business with me.
Calling the CPUC and local regulators got me no where.
We went back to AT&T with basically all accept for TV. We have had no issues with speed or otherwise. The only issue was billing which is getting resolved. See AT&T can hear your complaint but cox since its a private company only wants people that do not complain and pay for there services. Please see my other post please. I just updated the ratings for AT&T as of current.
