With Cogeco Cable ISP I was paying $50 a month for overages EVERY month ON TOP of a $60 plan with Cogeco with less speed. (14/1 with 80GB cap.)
Left Cogeco for Start in Nov 2012.
I now I pay $50 a month have 20/1.5 with 300GB cap.
My bill is the same every month, no weird charges or punitive overages.
My transition from Cogeco to Start was smooth and simple.
Modem arrived promptly by mail, set it up the day of the changeover.
Immediately worked upon setup, saw speed increase immediately.
Even received a friendly phone call from a Start rep just making sure everything was okay. (I really appreciated the personal touch!)
Had some initial minor problems sorting out speed profile (Cogeco's error).
Was personally assisted on BBR by Start staff, problem fixed promptly and as promised.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Rocca and his team at Start.
FINALLY we have a sane, fair company offering a decent internet product to Canadians!
P.S. I recommended Start to a couple friends. One of them mentioned my name to Start when he signed up. I got a $25 credit the next month! SWEET!
