I ordered on Monday and was shipped my new modem within a few days. I got an automated call on the day before the install, a Sunday, from Rogers reminding me of the install appointment - this automated call required a response. On the day of the install the installer showed up about 1 minute before the assigned 3 hour install time slot expired. He told me he'd done 4 installs already and was only just given my install 15 minutes before. Roger's techs do the install and that gives me an idea of how organized they are.
So far my switch from Acanac DSL to Start cable has been seamless and service *feels* the same. I opted for the 6Mbps unlimited cable and didn't expect any difference switching from 6Mbps DSL.
