(ratings above consensus)

Have used a Motorola Q smartphone connected by USB to connect to the Internet while in a car going at 60 mph with speeds upwards of 900 Kbps with 3 out of 5 bars of signal. I use the VZW Access Manager to connect. At my house I get full singal with about 1.2 Mbps. I do no use this as my main connection and probably would not ever consider it as a replacement. I get service almost everywhere I travel. can not rate on sales info because I get the service through a separate business.

    verizon & slingbox

I have been using verizon wireless um150 usb modem along with a slingbox at my home. I do use it for travelling and have never had a problem with my signal. I'm little disappointed that I am limited to just 5 gig and have actually stopped using it to prevent go over that amount and I've had to sacrifice picture quality since I reduced the amount of bandwith my slingbox sends, again to prevent going over the 5 gig limit.
Also, the price is too high, I think 5 gig should be at $40.00/mo not the $60.00/mo they have it at.
Aside from that I am very happy with Verizon.

    LTE

I agree. We can only hope that this will change when their networks are upgraded to LTE in 2010.
