This Spectrum takeover is a major clusterfuck. i have not made any changes whatsover to my account, but now my once reliable service is a crapshoot. I come home tonite to a box that is "unauthorized" and an offline modem. I call and the guy says there's "maintenance" and service will e back up "real soon". Then he said there are "issues" in my area. Funny, I can see everyone elses hotspot BUT mine. One of my cable boxes is working. I call back. He reboots my equipment. Box is still offline, modem is on, but he tells me to powercycle it? He authorizes the box. So I asked him "WTF", and his totally unconcerned response was "well it's probably maintenance in the area". He kept yawning thru the entire call. So they are bored and are trained to use "maintenance" as an excuse, instead of troubleshooting. This is absolute bullshit, and i'm mad as hell over it. I pay them $200 a month for this?

And my parents have an even bigger nightmare. The landlord thought he cancelled his service when he moved to south florida, but apparently they didnt, as we found out when my parents tried to transfer service. The landlord called every day to try and cancel his service, but they told him he CANNOT CANCEL!!! they would not let him cancel because there was a modem on the account, which he had paperwork saying he turned in, so instead of my parents having service in their name, it's in the landlord's name. What kind of BS is this?

Welcome to the fast lane

I've had RR here in Ohio since last Thanksgiving, and recommend it highly to everyone who can get it. I regularly get 2000+ down, 360+ up, and am 100% pleased with it. This kind of speed makes surfing the information highway a pleasure. Of course, a fast computer and video card help to display the web pages even faster.
