    I have had Bright House cable for 10 years now. Very reliable and I like all their analog channels. We have ReplayTV and TiVos in the house and analog channels make life easier. FiOS is always mailing and banging on my front door to get me to switch. Not going to happen. Don't need all their boxes for my bedrooms when analog and my DVRs work great for us.

    I have one Bright House DVR and it is not the best. It freezes quite a bit when playing back recorded shows. The guide is pretty ugly with huge text. Search feature is useless compared to ReplayTV and TiVo. It is cheap though since I have their internet bundled in a package. They gave me 2 free premium channels for a year also. They don't have Encore or Starz on demand for some strange reason. Still a good value for what I get.

    **6/20/08** Just upgraded for $10 more a month to their 15mps/1mps internet. I was on the 7mps/512 before the switch. It used to be $10 a month more for just 10mps/1mps until this latest pricing. Good value and my uploads are closer to 2mps. It is nice living where FiOS competes for the same customers.

    Switched out my DVR for another a few months ago. No more freezing. Hard drive was slowly dying I guess. Channel guide and search feature is still pretty bad. FiOS is much better in that department.
