I've been a Cobalt customer for almost 2 years, and will definitely NOT renew my service with them. They have been horrible in every aspect, except for politness. Their service is not reliable, the install was not quality, they are unresponsive to requests for tech support, do not call back when promise to do so, do not answer their phone even though their automated phone system tells you they have support staff 24hrs/365 days a year! I have had no service for almost a week now, and am unable to contact Cobalt for help because they don't answer the phone. I've left 3 messages and have not received a call back. Since my wife works from home, I configured her cell phone to provide Internet access to her work system so she has a reliable connection. Now that I know how to do this, I am considering adding an unlimited data connection to my phone so I can do this to my system. The 70 kbps connection we get through the GPRS phone connection is operating faster than Cobalts supposed 11 Mbps connection (taken right from their website).
Definitely not recommended!
